Job Summary
Lead Architect for Information Architecture in Workplace Technology responsible for designing and delivering data architecture solutions across cloud-based platforms, driving target-state data architecture, governance, and collaboration with stakeholders. Responsibilities include proposing architecture approaches, evaluating technologies, enabling secure production code, automating remediation, engaging vendors, leading communities of practice, and contributing to an inclusive team culture. Requires formal training or certification in data/information architecture, hands-on data modeling/governance experience, cloud-native expertise, SDLC proficiency, and strong communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Formal training or certification on Data, or Information Architecture systems and applied experience
- Hands-on practical experience delivering Information architecture, data modeling and data governance solutions
- Advanced knowledge of Information architecture principles and one or more data modeling tools
- Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods
- Proficiency in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle
- Demonstrated proficiency in software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)
- In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systems
- Practical cloud native experience
- Advanced knowledge of one or more software, application, and architecture disciplines
- Ability to evaluate current and emerging technologies to recommend the best data architecture solutions for the future state architecture
- Understanding of Product Operation Model / Data as Product methodologies
- Familiarity with tools for data cataloging, governance and architecture (Collibra, Informatica, Erwin)
- Knowledge of TOGAF, Zachman or similar frameworks
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Attention to detail with organizing and structuring information
