Job Summary
Lead Architect-Fraud, Risk Technology at JPMorganChase drives architectural decisions shaping product design, application functionality, and technical operations. Provides technical guidance to business, technical teams, contractors, and vendors; leads evaluation of current technologies and future state architecture; represents product families in governance forums; advocates for firmwide frameworks and SDLC best practices; serves as SME in one or more architecture domains; collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and resilient fraud-risk platforms aligned with regulatory requirements; fosters diversity, inclusion, and respect within the team; emphasizes cloud-native architectures, authentication/identity management, and fraud-detection best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts
- 5+ years applied experience in the architecture discipline
- Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
- Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C#)
- Deep expertise in software architecture, applications, and technical processes
- Experience with cloud-native architectures and platforms
- Ability to deliver high-volume, large-scale, and highly resilient enterprise solutions
- Knowledge of authentication, identity management, and fraud detection best practices
- Strong written and verbal communication for stakeholder management
