Job Summary
Lead Architect responsible for defining target state architecture for Consumer and Community Banking technology at JPMorgan Chase; drive architecture governance, collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders, design scalable cloud-native solutions using AWS, microservices, API, data, DDD and TOGAF; develop production code and review others; improve operational stability; lead vendor/partner evaluations; leverage CI/CD, security, and agile practices; 7+ years of experience and formal training or certification in software engineering.
Required Qualifications
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts
- 7+ years applied experience
- Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
- Tech stack: AWS, Microservices, API, Data, Domain-Driven Design, TOGAF
- Digital customer facing experience
- Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods
- Advanced understanding of agile methodologies, including CI/CD, resiliency, and security
- Demonstrated proficiency in software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (such as cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, or mobile)
- In-depth knowledge of financial services IT systems
- Practical experience with cloud-native technologies
- Advanced knowledge of software, applications, and architecture disciplines
- Ability to evaluate current and emerging technologies to recommend solutions for future state architecture
- Preferred: AWS Certification
- Background in issuer or merchant processing or banking
