Job Summary
Lead Architect in JPMorgan Chase Card division responsible for shaping the future of digital commerce architecture. Drive high-quality architecture solutions across software applications and platform products, lead cross-functional architectural collaboration, govern scalable microservices on cloud, define the technical target state, and engage vendors and stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust technical designs. Emphasizes security and compliance, comprehensive technical documentation, and hands-on leadership across SDLC with a focus on scalable, fault-tolerant distributed systems and frontend UI/UX architecture using React or Angular.
Required Qualifications
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts
- 5+ years applied experience
- Experience in building Microservices on cloud/distributed environments
- Experience in architecting and building highly scalable, fault-tolerant, distributed systems
- Experience in designing and building batch and streaming pipelines to process data
- UI/UX Architecture – Frontend application design using React or Angular
- Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
- Proficiency in SDLC including automated end-to-end and performance testing
- Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, application resiliency, and security
- Practical cloud-native experience, preferably AWS
- Ability to evaluate current and emerging technologies for future state architecture
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
