Job Summary
Lead Archery Guide oversees gear management, training, and procurement for archery and select outdoor activities; balances technical expertise with exceptional customer service to deliver Forbes Five-Star-level guest experiences; responsible for departmental budget, purchases, vendor relations, inventory/maintenance of gear, SOPs for designated activities, and designing/facilitating comprehensive staff training; leads large group activities across departments (survival skills, paintball, corporate ranch events); evaluates guide team performance and provides strategic feedback to Activities management; reports to Activities Managers.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of one year of employment at The Ranch at Rock Creek
- Demonstrated proficiency and consistent high-level performance as a full-time employee
- Capability and readiness to expertly lead at least five distinct guest activities
- Proven track record of demonstrating initiative and proactive problem-solving in the workspace
- Commitment to exceeding expectations, contributing to the property's success, and pursuing continuous personal and professional development
- Dedication to expanding the knowledge base of the entire guide team through active participation and leadership in training
- Strong organizational skills with a highly reliable history of following through on assigned tasks
