Job Summary
The Lead Application Engineer at Cadence will identify and qualify opportunities with customers, help implement and deploy tools in production, and work closely with R&D and Product Engineering teams. The role requires strong analytical skills to resolve production issues and necessitates extensive interaction with customers. Candidates must possess a solid understanding of IC design technology, analog layouts, and automation scripting, along with proficiency in Virtuoso and experience with the complete analog back-end flow.
Required Qualifications
- B.Tech or equivalent
- 3 to 7 years of relevant experience
- Solid understanding of IC design technology
- In-depth knowledge of analog layout design fundamentals
- Hands-on experience on writing skill scripts for layout automation
- Prior Design experience using Cadence CustomIC Physical Design tools
Desired Qualifications
- Hands-on knowledge of Advance Node layout and design rules
- Excellent customer and communication skills
- Leadership qualities
- Knowledge of complete analog back-end flow
- Proficiency in Cadence layout tools specifically Virtuoso
