Job Summary
Design and develop IT application architecture solutions aligned with enterprise standards for EMR-related work supporting the eCW to Athena transition. Perform technical planning, architecture development, and specification modification for new products and services. Assess product compatibility and integration to ensure an integrated architecture across interdependent applications. Advise executives on functional strategies and exercise independent judgment on complex issues regarding job duties. Collaborate across Humana enterprise teams to solve problems of diverse scope and complexity.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
- 8 or more experience as a senior developer in large IT projects
- Prior project lead experience
- Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
- At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps
- Wireless, wired cable or DSL connection
- Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information
- Occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings
Desired Qualifications
- knowledge of healthcare APIs and Interoperability patters
- Experience with Saas products
- Experience with Integration Engines used for interop
- Knowledge and experience of agile delivery practices
