Job Summary
Lead maintenance technician for a residential apartment community. Responsible for managing work orders, preventative maintenance, and daily workload of the onsite team under the Community Manager; requires HVAC Type I and II/EPA Universal Certification (CPO preferred but not required). Duties include assessing root causes of work orders, performing routine maintenance, assisting with capital improvement projects, managing inventory of vacant units, coordinating contractors, responding to on-call emergencies (one-week rotation with added stipend), and ensuring compliance with safety and Fair Housing policies. Must have strong customer service, ability to diagnose appliances and systems (including painting, plumbing, drywall, carpentry, and minor electric work), and a valid driver’s license, with after-hours responsiveness. Onsite role with in-person operations in Atlanta, GA.
Required Qualifications
- HVAC Type I and II/EPA Universal Certification
- Valid Driver’s License
- Experience with troubleshooting major appliances, water heaters, boilers, and AC units
- Direct previous experience on a garden-style apartment community
