Job Summary
Lead Animal Care Technician at Best Friends Pet Hotel responsible for overseeing daily pet-care operations and ensuring safety, comfort, and cleanliness of pet guests. Duties include cleaning and maintenance of pet suites, feeding and watering, monitoring and charting each pet guest, monitoring pet belongings, laundering, and assisting other team members. Requires High School Diploma or Equivalent, 1+ year animal care/kennel experience, Animal Care Technician Certified, and Playtime Certification. Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, lift up to 40 pounds, stand/walk for long periods, and handle dogs on leashes; proficiency with a computer system is needed. Compensation ranges from $17.00 to $20.00 per hour in Massachusetts, with potential commissions or bonuses where applicable.
