Job Summary
Lead operational analytics dashboards and websites that provide mission-critical insights for NGA executives, ensuring the continuity and effectiveness of visualization solutions. Supervise a small team by overseeing workload distribution, mentoring junior members, and serving as the primary point of contact for stakeholders to ensure high-quality service delivery. Collect, condition, and analyze data to identify patterns and trends while troubleshooting technical issues related to dashboards and APIs. Implement best practices for data security, governance, and compliance, and develop user documentation to enhance tool adoption. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine analytics capabilities and provide superior customer service to internal stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma with GED equivalent, 10+ years of relevant experience
- Associate's degree and 6+ years' experience
- Bachelor's Degree and 4+ years of experience
- Relevant experience in Analytics
- Relevant experience in Visual Operations
- Relevant experience in Data Collection
- Experience in the Intelligence Community
- TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain CI poly
- Successfully pass background and drug screening
- Ability to work independently and yet be effective within a team setting
- Must be capable of managing multiple efforts with time-related constraints in a fast-paced contracting environment
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse internal and external stakeholder groups and individuals
- Excellent skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Office applications
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications
- Ability to provide technical assistance and support over the phone; good phone skills, professional demeanor, and previous customer service experience
Desired Qualifications
- Experience leading or mentoring technical teams supporting enterprise analytics, data visualization, or IT operations
- Experience developing operational dashboards using tools such as Grafana, Power BI, Tableau, Kibana, or similar analytics and visualization platforms
- Proficiency with SQL, Python, PowerShell, or similar scripting languages to automate data collection, analysis, and reporting
- Experience supporting the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA), Department of Defense (DoD), or other Intelligence Community (IC) organizations
- Ability to visualize a problem/situation and think abstractly to solve it
- Friendly presence, helpful attitude, good interpersonal skills, and ability to work well with others
- Good problem-solving skills
