Job Summary
Lead Power BI development and reporting initiatives for Legal, Compliance, Audit & Risk and Enterprise Risk Management. Conduct advanced statistical and quantitative analyses, develop complex modeling projects, and create executive dashboards while partnering with business subject matter experts. Enhance reporting accuracy through data modeling, automation, and governance best practices, including daily data ingestion, DAX calculations, and AI incorporation. Validate results, translate technical concepts to nontechnical audiences, and manage project plans and business cases. Requires 8+ years of experience with Power BI, Power Query, DAX, and SQL. Hybrid work schedule with up to one day per week from home.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
- 8+ years of total relevant work experience
- Power BI (advanced proficiency required)
- Power Query (M) and DAX for complex calculations and KPIs
- ETL, and data transformation
- Power Automate (workflow automation)
- Coding background of any sorts: Python, SQL, VBA, etc.
- SharePoint / OneDrive integration for data storage and refresh
- Strong data modeling expertise (fact/dimension design, relationships, performance optimization)
- Experience working with large, complex datasets across multiple sources
- Understanding of introducing AI overlays into reports (CoPilot)
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- 4 days per week on-site in Owings Mills, MD
