Job Summary
Design, develop, maintain, and enhance web-based Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) applications using AngularJS. Create user-friendly interfaces for production environments and integrate front-end applications with RESTful APIs and backend services. Collaborate with manufacturing engineers and business analysts to translate requirements into technical solutions, supporting modules for production management, work order execution, quality management, and equipment monitoring. Troubleshoot application issues, optimize performance, participate in code reviews, and prepare technical documentation while working closely with QA teams to ensure software reliability.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in AngularJS development
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript
- Strong proficiency in HTML5
- Strong proficiency in CSS3
- Strong proficiency in AngularJS (1.x)
- Experience with RESTful APIs and JSON
- Good understanding of version control systems such as Git
- Experience with SQL databases
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
- Understanding of manufacturing processes and factory operations
- Familiarity with manufacturing standards and concepts such as: OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness)
- Familiarity with manufacturing standards and concepts such as: Production Scheduling
- Familiarity with manufacturing standards and concepts such as: Quality Control
- Familiarity with manufacturing standards and concepts such as: Shop Floor Data Collection
- Experience integrating MES with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle
- Knowledge of OPC, PLC, CAMX, CFX or industrial communication protocols
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
