Job Summary
Conduct residential alarm installations and service for Qolsys, Honeywell, DSC, and other panels by visiting customer sites, performing walkthroughs, and troubleshooting technical problems. Execute drilling, wiring, and component replacements for new installs, conversions, and takeovers while ensuring signal verification and system functionality. Maintain inventory transactions, identify system improvement opportunities, and adhere to safety protocols when working at heights or in tight spaces. Keep job sites and fleet vehicles clean to ensure customer satisfaction. Requires five years of industry experience, valid driver's license, and ability to climb ladders.
Required Qualifications
- 5 plus years of industry experience in residential alarm installations
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Detail-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality results
- H.S. Diploma or GED
- Good driving record and Valid driver's license
- Excellent customer service skills
- Working knowledge of how an alarm system operates
- Must be ok with climbing ladders and working at heights
- Must be ok working in tight spaces such as crawlspaces, attics and basements
Desired Qualifications
- Relevant certifications and licenses are a plus
- Experience with these specific alarm panels: Qolsys 4 and 5, Honeywell (Vista 20 and 128), DSC (1864,1616,) Concord 4, and familiar with others such as DMP, 2GIG and Ademco
