Job Summary
Conduct residential alarm installations and system walkthroughs for custom homes, installing components like add-ons, conversions, and new systems while troubleshooting technical issues and verifying signal functionality. Execute wire running and drilling in multi-level structures, maintain inventory transactions job-to-job, and identify opportunities to improve system functionality. Ensure full compliance with regulations and safety practices, keeping job sites and fleet vehicles clean and organized. Requires 5+ years of industry experience, familiarity with Qolsys, Honeywell, DSC, and other panels, plus a valid driver's license and comfort working at heights. Required Qualifications
- 5 plus years of industry experience in residential alarm installations
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Detail-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality results
- H.S. Diploma or GED
- Good driving record and Valid driver's license
- Excellent customer service skills
- Working knowledge of how an alarm system operates
- Must be ok with climbing ladders and working at heights
- Must be ok working in tight spaces such as crawlspaces, attics and basements
Desired Qualifications
- Relevant certifications and licenses are a plus
- Experience with these specific alarm panels: Qolsys 4 and 5, Honeywell (Vista 20 and 128), DSC (1864,1616,) Concord 4, and familiar with others such as DMP, 2GIG and Ademco
