Job Summary
Conduct residential alarm installations, system design walkthroughs, and technical troubleshooting for custom home projects. Replace or install system components including add-ons, conversions, and new installs while maintaining inventory records and ensuring signal verification. Proficient in drilling, running wires in multi-level homes, and installing equipment across crawlspaces, attics, and basements. Maintain safety practices, clean job sites, and manage fleet vehicles. Requires five plus years of industry experience, familiarity with Qolsys, Honeywell, DSC, and other panels, and a valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- 5 plus years of industry experience in residential alarm installations
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Detail-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality results
- H.S. Diploma or GED
- Good driving record and Valid driver's license
- Excellent customer service skills
- Working knowledge of how an alarm system operates
- Must be ok with climbing ladders and working at heights
- Must be ok working in tight spaces such as crawlspaces, attics and basements
Desired Qualifications
- Relevant certifications and licenses are a plus
- Experience with these specific alarm panels: Qolsys 4 and 5, Honeywell (Vista 20 and 128), DSC (1864,1616,) Concord 4, and familiar with others such as DMP, 2GIG and Ademco
