Job Summary
Conduct residential alarm installations, system designs, and walkthroughs for custom homes while troubleshooting technical problems and verifying equipment functionality. Replace or install system components including add-ons, conversions, and takeovers across multi-level structures, ensuring compliance with all regulations. Maintain safety practices, keep job sites and fleet vehicles organized, and record inventory transactions job to job. Identify opportunities to improve customer system usage and provide recommendations. Requires 5+ years of industry experience, proficiency with Qolsys, Honeywell, DSC, and other panels, plus a valid driver's license. Base pay ranges from $30.00 to $35.00 per hour with commission eligibility.
Required Qualifications
- 5 plus years of industry experience in residential alarm installations
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Detail-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality results
- H.S. Diploma or GED
- Good driving record and Valid driver's license
- Excellent customer service skills
- Working knowledge of how an alarm system operates
- Must be ok with climbing ladders and working at heights
- Must be ok working in tight spaces such as crawlspaces, attics and basements
Desired Qualifications
- Relevant certifications and licenses are a plus
- Experience with these specific alarm panels: Qolsys 4 and 5, Honeywell (Vista 20 and 128), DSC (1864,1616,) Concord 4, and familiar with others such as DMP, 2GIG and Ademco
