Job Summary
Lead and mentor sheet metal team; assign tasks and ensure quality. Perform complex sheet metal fabrication and repairs per technical drawings while maintaining compliance with FAA, OEM, and safety standards. Inspect completed work and document maintenance actions. Support AOG operations at various stations and perform line maintenance duties other than sheet metal. Candidates must have a valid A&P license, 5+ years aircraft sheet metal experience, and 2+ years in a lead role. Travel on an as needed basis. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- valid A&P and State Driver's License
- ability to read, write and understand English
- ability to interpret technical data and special operating instructions
- ability to lift and move up to 70 pounds
- 5+ years aircraft sheet metal experience
- 2+ years in a lead role
- ability to pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
- ability to climb ladders ranging from 6 to 10 feet tall
- strong technical, leadership, and communication skills
