Job Summary
Lead Aircraft Maintenance Technician position directs and coordinates the work of Aircraft Maintenance Technicians, serving as the primary liaison between maintenance personnel, production control, and leadership. Responsible for ensuring aircraft maintenance activities are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with FAA regulations and Company procedures. Responsibilities include leading and approving the work of technicians, coordinating staffing and overtime, providing technical guidance, tracking progress, expediting parts, assigning tasks based on skill and timelines, participating in daily planning and shift turnover, ensuring airworthiness and schedule compliance, coordinating aircraft movements, supporting troubleshooting and resolution of discrepancies, maintaining documentation and housekeeping standards.
Required Qualifications
- Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to perform all duties of an Aircraft Maintenance Technician
- Strong technical, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work under time critical and safety sensitive conditions
- Must have valid driver’s license
- Must be able to obtain SIDA badge
- 2 years of prior experience in a lead or coordinating role
- 2 years Boeing 737 maintenance experience
- 2 years Heavy check or hangar maintenance experience
- Familiarity with maintenance tracking and production control processes
- Previous supervisory experience
- Valid US Passport preferred
