Lead Aircraft Maintenance Technician

Job Summary
Coordinate assigned maintenance department activities to minimize delays and increase production efficiency. Direct operations of maintenance personnel, train subordinates on proper procedures, and ensure accurate execution of work records. Maintain work areas, ground support equipment, and materials in safe, clean, and operable conditions while coordinating between maintenance staff and the Inspection Department. Manage Safety Risk Management and Safety Assurance outputs under the Company's Security and Safety Management System. This role does not involve leading more than 18 employees or direct reports, with responsibilities delegated to the Manager of Maintenance during absences.
Required Qualifications
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant certification
- One year of experience on turbine powered aircraft with maximum gross takeoff weight (MGTOW) of 12,500 lbs
- Thorough knowledge of aircraft maintenance processes and ability to utilize applicable Manuals (GMM, AMM, FIM, Wiring diagrams etc)
- Run Taxi/Qualified (within 120 days) including AMA, if applicable
- Competent in the use of required calibrated test equipment
- In good company standing (STEP 1 violations considered)
- PSA Indoctrination training and General Familiarization (training qualifications accepted)
- Good organizational and communication skills
- Airworthiness Release Qualified within 90 days
- Must possess or have ability to obtain a U.S. Passport or equivalent within 90 days of starting position
- Ability to speak/read/write in English
- If hired, must be able to demonstrate that you are authorized to work in the US
- Must be able to pass the fingerprint-based criminal history records check (CHRC)
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Ability to regularly talk or hear
- Ability to frequently stand; walk; climb up and down stairs
- Ability to lift weight up to 25 lbs
- Ability to use hands to handle or feel
- Ability to reach with hands and arms
