Job Summary

Lead A&P Technician responsible for performing inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance on a variety of aircraft in a fast-paced Part 135 operation. Acts as the first escalation point for technical issues, adheres to FAA, manufacturer, and company regulations, and maintains accurate maintenance records. Coordinates with operations on aircraft status and return-to-service, maintains tools and work area, and ensures safety and regulatory compliance. Requires leadership experience in a fast-paced maintenance environment, FAA A&P certification, 2+ years of related aviation maintenance experience, and strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are essential. Also required: U.S. work eligibility, TSA background check, and driver’s license.

Required Qualifications

  • Must hold and maintain valid FAA A&P certification
  • 2+ years of related aviation maintenance experience
  • Subject to FAA Drug & Alcohol Testing (DOT Safety-Sensitive)
  • Must have demonstrated leadership experience, including the ability to guide and support team members
  • Must be able to read and interpret technical, regulatory, and procedural documentation to ensure maintenance tasks are performed in full compliance with FAA regulations and company standards
  • Must have strong analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Must have the ability to function effectively independently or as a team member
  • Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • High School graduate or GED equivalent
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
  • Must meet airport badging requirements, including TSA Security background check
  • Must hold and maintain a valid Driver’s License and meet all company insurance criteria
