Job Summary
As the Lead AI & Software Engineer, you will co-lead a new AI innovation team focused on integrating advanced AI into industrial products. Responsibilities include defining software architecture, leading AI software development across embedded and cloud systems, translating research prototypes into production code, and driving best engineering practices such as testing and CI/CD. The role requires mentoring engineers to foster a high-performance culture and collaboration with global research partners. A degree in a relevant field, extensive experience in software engineering or AI development, and strong skills in Python and C++ are required.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science, AI, Robotics, or related field
- 8+ years experience in software engineering or AI system development
- Strong experience in Python and C++
- Experience deploying machine learning models in production systems
- Experience designing scalable software architectures
- Familiarity with MLOps, DevOps, and distributed systems
- Experience in robotics, automation, or control systems
- Experience leading engineering teams or technical projects
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with embedded AI or edge computing
- Open-source contributions or research publications
