Job Summary
Design, implement, and operate agentic AI systems that augment internal roles in coordinated home care benefits management. Build and ship LLM-powered agents directly into production while leading a small engineering team and setting technical direction for architecture and stack. Evaluate third-party models against accuracy, cost, and latency benchmarks, and shape data workflows for OCR, chunking, and summarization to manage context constraints. Apply senior engineering judgment to solve complex business problems with measurable value, ensuring compliance with healthcare data privacy and PHI handling standards. Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience delivering and maintaining production systems
- 1+ years of hands-on experience building and deploying LLM-powered or agentic systems that are live in production
- Experience evaluating and benchmarking multiple third-party LLM providers/models against each other for a given use case
- Experience shaping and transforming data for optimal model consumption
- Managing context window constraints to produce consistent agent outputs
- Strong experience with AWS
- Experience working in a regulated industry (healthcare, financial services, insurance, or similar), including navigating data privacy and compliance considerations
Desired Qualifications
- Some experience leading, mentoring, or setting direction for other engineers, whether in a formal management role or informally as a senior/staff-level contributor
