Job Summary
Manage the portfolio of AI agents and automations by taking intake, ensuring cost control, and resolving complex issues. Build and maintain MCP connectors to enable effective use of AI tools across the organization while monitoring system performance and optimizing infrastructure for high availability and security. Develop and implement IT operational processes to improve efficiency, support incident resolution, and drive the transition of routine tasks to the Operations Center. Ensure all agents and connectors comply with security policies, including Azure Policies and Copilot Studio guardrails. Provide lead guidance to junior IT operations specialists in a collaborative environment.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft Azure services, including Azure AI Foundry, Azure Policies, and related infrastructure
- Hands-on experience with Claude, Copilot Studio or similar AI orchestration platforms
- Familiarity with MCP (Model Context Protocol) or API integration patterns
- A solid grasp of IT operations fundamentals: monitoring, incident management, availability, cost control, and service reliability
- Experience with AI agent lifecycle management — from intake and onboarding through to ongoing monitoring and decommissioning
- Comfort working across security and compliance boundaries, including implementing guardrails and ensuring adherence to policies and regulations
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills — you work effectively across engineering, business, and enablement teams and can translate between technical and non-technical stakeholders
- An interest in or understanding of AI governance frameworks — you appreciate why guardrails matter and can implement them practically, not just in principle
