Job Summary

Monitor Table Games, Slots, Cages, Soft Count, and Race and Sports Book while conducting observations and investigations on suspicious activity on the Casino floor. Operate Surveillance video equipment to ensure accurate documentation of irregularities, write factual reports about abnormal activity, and make detailed written reports on incidents occurring on property. Detect and identify theft, fraud, and other criminal activities in all point-of-sale environments, utilizing AI and software programs to investigate and analyze data alerts. Evaluate Table Games play of high-end property guests and view Casino areas for identification of cheating activities, undesirables, pilferage, and embezzlement. Check all Surveillance equipment at the start of the shift for proper condition and report repairs via email or iTrak system. Coordinate with local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies while conducting investigations and assist in protecting the welfare of team members and guests.

Required Qualifications

  • At least one year of experience in gaming Surveillance with a focus on high action Table Games, Casino monitoring and investigation experience
  • Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays
  • Must be 21 years of age
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Nevada Gaming Control Board registration and any other certification or license, as required by law or policy
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
  • Must be tolerant of varying conditions of noise level, temperature, illumination, and air quality
  • Prolonged sitting/standing
  • Bending and reaching
  • Transporting, pushing, pulling, lifting, and maneuvering items weighing up to 10 lbs
  • Eye/hand coordination
  • Ability to comply with Policies and Procedures, Job Description, daily memorandums, chemical labels (MSDS) and other instructions

Desired Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Gaming Minimum Internal Casino Standards, local jurisdictional gaming laws, and Nevada Revised Statutes
  • Should be proficient in detection of advantage play (card counters, top card, and hole card)
  • A good understanding of all computer-based programs used by Surveillance, iTrak, BJ Survey, Synkros or equivalent
  • Ability to use Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Previous experience working in a large, luxury resort setting
