Job Summary
Coordinate overall aircraft departure operations within an assigned functional area by conducting agent observations, administering local training, and managing manpower utilization. Prepare weight and balance sheets for flights prior to departure, calculate loads based on passengers, baggage, and fuel, and make corresponding computer system entries. Investigate discrepancies, compile statistical data for reports, prepare customer correspondence, and maintain supply and inventory control logs. Provide updated corrections to scheduled departure flights and assist management with administrative duties while communicating clear information via radio. Requires ability to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum age: 18
- High school diploma, GED, or international equivalent
- Valid, unexpired and unsuspended driver's license; some license restrictions may prohibit a candidate from being eligible for this position
- Ability to work a variety of rotating shifts including days, nights, overnights, weekends, holidays, and rotating days off
- Knowledge basic computer functions including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Must be able to read, write, fluently speak, and understand the English language
- Possess the legal right to work in the United States
- Above-average qualities of leadership, initiative and judgment are essential
Desired Qualifications
- Experience applying math principles for mathematical calculations preferred
