Job Summary
Implement age-appropriate lesson plans using the Wonder of Learning® curriculum to engage young children. Maintain a safe, nurturing classroom environment while supervising indoor and outdoor activities to uphold health and safety standards. Communicate daily progress and activities with families, observe and document learning to inform instruction, and support Assistant and Resource Teachers through collaborative guidance strategies. Model positive behavior to foster social-emotional growth and conflict resolution. Participate in ongoing professional development and training. No nights or weekends; 401(k), dental, and health insurance included. Located in Suwanee, GA.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's or bachelor's in Early Childhood Education
- Child Development Associate (CDA)
- 1-2 years of previous experience working with young children in a licensed childcare or preschool setting
- Has successfully completed state-required pre-service training
- Develops relationships and communicates effectively with children, families and faculty members
