Job Summary
Lead, Adjacent Businesses role focused on developing and executing the growth strategy for energy-enabled services across Husk communities; identify, evaluate, and launch new revenue-generating services leveraging existing energy infrastructure; establish partnerships with local entrepreneurs, cooperatives, institutions, and community stakeholders; manage energy services, portfolio performance, and stakeholder engagement; drive new product opportunities in e-mobility, agriculture and agro-processing, water services, refrigeration, digital services, and rural enterprise development; monitor financial performance (P&L) and develop annual business plans; travel regularly to operating communities in Nigeria; requires a Bachelor's degree and 5–8 years of experience in business development, commercial operations, rural energy, or related sectors; proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; English fluency is required (Hausa preferred) and willingness to travel.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, Social Sciences, or a related discipline
- 5–8 years of experience in business development, commercial operations, rural energy, and productive-use applications, agriculture value chains, or related sectors
- Experience managing multiple revenue-generating business lines
- Strong commercial and financial analysis skills
- Strong project management and stakeholder engagement capabilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and business reporting tools
- Experience working in rural or underserved markets is highly desirable
- Fluency in English is required; Hausa language proficiency is an advantage
- Willingness to travel extensively across operating communities
