Job Summary
Lead the Accounting/Billing function with responsibility for internal controls over reimbursable and direct-order billing, and for developing and implementing accounting controls and procedures in SAP. Manage month- and year-end closings and coordinate the external audit; participate in corporate-wide finance system initiatives (e.g., SAP/IFs and SAP AR). Ensure revenue, receivables, and related GAAP reporting are accurate, and drive process improvements, analysis of general ledger accounts, and cross-team collaboration to support organizational goals. Requires extensive experience in accounting, billing, and financial systems implementation, with proven ability to lead complex projects from concept to conclusion and to communicate financial concepts to diverse stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 7 or more years of relevant accounting, finance, or other business experience
- Experience with SAP modules FI-GL, FI-AR, PS, CO, SD; Business Objects; and BPC
- Knowledge of GAAP and GAAS; ability to apply them to internal controls
- Strong communication and project-management skills
