Lead Accountant, Technical Franchise Revenue

Job Summary
Lead Accountant for Technical Franchise Revenue located at our Atlanta-based Global Support Center, onsite 80% of the time. Focus on revenue recognition under GAAP (ASC 606), end-to-end global revenue processes, and deferrals. Responsibilities include preparing and recording revenue-related entries and reconciliations, supporting quarterly and annual disclosures, handling financial close analytics and internal controls, assisting audits, and responding to information requests from senior management and cross-functional teams. Drive continuous improvement in revenue accounting processes and collaborate with Legal, FP&A, Franchise Services, and Operations to understand contracts and ensure proper revenue recognition. Coordinate with internal and external auditors on revenue-related inquiries and maintain proper controls. Ad hoc projects and cross-team support as business needs evolve.
Required Qualifications
- 4 Year Degree in Accounting or related field
- 1-3 years accounting experience
- Prior accounting experience with ERP financial systems
- CPA or CPA candidate preferred
- Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills
