Lead Academic Paraprofessional

Lead Academic Paraprofessional at BHA Academy provides senior instructional support and coordination across classrooms, serving as day-to-day lead for paraprofessional staff. Responsible for staffing coordination, coaching, documentation oversight, and ensuring high-fidelity implementation of academic, behavioral, and therapeutic programming aligned to students’ IEPs, BIPs, and treatment plans. Works with Case Managers, teachers, clinicians, and operations leadership to maintain trauma-informed relationships, implement consistent classroom routines, monitor documentation and data collection, and mentor paraprofessionals to support student progress in high-intensity, therapeutic learning environments. Requires leadership presence, organization, and effective communication to promote student safety, dignity, and access to high-quality instruction.
