Job Summary
Lead ABA Special Educator overseeing a substantially separate program for PreK-2 students with Autism Spectrum Disorder and related diagnoses. Responsibilities include collaborating with BCBA and other staff, coordinating supervision and scheduling for paraprofessional staff, conducting frequent consultation with general and special educators, collaborating with families, creating and implementing lesson plans based on IEP goals and ABA/DTT programming, developing and overseeing educational and Behavior Intervention Plans, attending IEP meetings, drafting and managing student IEPs, completing quarterly progress reports, assessing students with VB-MAPP/Brigance/WIAT/ABLLS, developing educational programming from assessments, performing ABA/DTT training with students, staff, and families with BCBA support, consulting with outside agencies, and conducting home visits if necessary. Also supports students with activities of daily living and coordinates with other district buildings for transition of programming. Requires flexibility, collaboration, and solution orientation, and possession of appropriate DESE certification.
