Job Summary
Coordinate daily work assignments, assign tasks to mechanics, and provide technical guidance on aircraft maintenance, troubleshooting, and modifications. Monitor progress, identify schedule or airworthiness issues, and resolve workflow concerns with customers and inspection teams. Ensure all maintenance entries, work orders, and documentation are properly completed while maintaining safety, housekeeping, and tool control standards. Requires valid FAA A&P license, minimum three years of heavy commercial aircraft experience, and ability to work variable schedules and overtime.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license
- Minimum 3 years of heavy commercial aircraft maintenance experience
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, SRM, GMM, AMM, and other technical data
- Strong leadership, task prioritization, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently, under pressure, and with all organizational levels
- Ability to work overtime and variable schedules as required
- Ability to move around aircraft, stand for extended periods, and lift up to 50 lbs.
