Job Summary
Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care within the guidelines of nursing standards. Promote patient and family-centered care by educating families on illness management, post-treatment needs, and medication administration. Develop and document individual plans of care with defined goals in collaboration with the interprofessional team, ensuring communication across the continuum. Use critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs while respecting patient values and cultural preferences. Participate in activities promoting patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. This PRN role supports the MHE Family Care Birthing Center Labor & Delivery at Memorial Shiloh, a Magnet-recognized organization offering comprehensive obstetric and neonatal services.
