Job Summary
Provides direct patient care activities including assessment, diagnosis, planning implementation, and evaluation within the guidelines of the standards of nursing care. Educates patients and families on management of illness or injury, including post-treatment home care needs and medication administration. Develops, implements, and documents individual plans of care in collaboration with the interprofessional team and patient/family. Proactively plans and ensures communication of the plan of care across the continuum of care. Utilizes critical nursing skills to assess and evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs; promotes patient safety and quality. Role involves professional development and advancing along a nursing career ladder; this is a Labor & Delivery RN position with a safety-sensitive designation.
Required Qualifications
- RN license
- Nursing Diploma/Associate's - Nursing
