Job Summary
LDAR Technician identifies, documents, and tags fugitive emissions from industrial components (valves, pumps) to ensure EPA regulatory compliance. Uses TVAs and OGI cameras to monitor, report, and facilitate repairs in refineries, chemical plants, and oil/gas sites, and maintains positive customer relations while adhering to company safety policies. Work is in an industrial setting in Baton Rouge, LA with a Mon-Thu 4/10s schedule and full-time benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Experience as an LDAR Technician or equivalent
- Knowledge of EPA regulations and LDAR programs
- Experience using Toxic Vapor Analyzers (TVAs) and Optical Gas Imaging (OGI) cameras
- Ability to identify, document, and tag fugitive emissions on industrial equipment
- Ability to operate in refinery/chemical plant environments
- Strong safety and customer-relations skills
