Job Summary
Recruit, train, and mobilize a diverse group of LCV members nationally to make phone calls, send texts, and write letters for endorsed candidates. Utilize digital tools including phone banking, text banking, and 1:1 meetings to activate volunteers. Track all outreach and engagement in VAN, submitting daily reports while planning and executing organizing actions, events, and trainings. Develop relationships with coordinated campaign partners and progressive leaders to coordinate activities. Work remotely alongside a distributed team to drive volunteer capacity for electing climate champions, requiring evening and weekend availability.
Required Qualifications
- at least one cycle of community, issue, labor, or political organizing
- excellent communication and organizational skills
- ability to build relationships remotely

- ability to work well in a team and independently
- extensive volunteer recruitment experience including phone banking, text banking, and volunteer training and management
- willingness to work evening and weekend hours
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and effectively manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced work environment
- Successful experience working with teams representing a rich mix of talent, backgrounds and perspectives
- Fluency in VAN, Microsoft Office and Google Suites
- Laptop

Desired Qualifications
- 1+ cycles of electoral campaign experience, community, issue, labor or political organizing
