LCSW Special Needs Coordinator

Job Summary
Support healthcare professionals in managing installation EFMP-M per DoD and AF policy by using clinical assessment skills to identify sponsors with special medical and educational needs. Ensure family members are appropriately Q coded and enrolled in AF medical special needs data management systems while maintaining SN files at the Medical Treatment Facility. Coordinate the enrollment process, travel screening, and referrals to community agencies, and participate in quarterly case reviews to assess unmet needs. Provide training and technical direction to installation personnel, complete required medical record documentation, and maintain a cooperative relationship with base MPS and CSS.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work (MSW)
- Graduate from a School of Social Work fully accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE)
- 2 Years of experience
- Maintain a current, unrestricted clinical license to practice social work in any one of the 50 states, District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, or the U.S. Virgin Islands
- A clinical social work license that allows the Social Worker to practice independently without clinical supervision
- Full time employment at the Fairchild AFB in Spokane, Washington
