Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive behavioral health and mental health assessments, provide individual, family, and group therapy, and develop recovery-oriented treatment plans for clients with mental health, substance use, and co-occurring disorders. Deliver both telehealth and in-person counseling services while maintaining accurate clinical documentation and collaborating with psychiatrists, nurses, and case managers. Treat individuals experiencing emotional wellness challenges and support long-term recovery goals within a multidisciplinary outpatient setting.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Social Work or another mental health-related discipline
- Current New Jersey Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) License or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) License
- Experience providing individual therapy
- Experience providing family therapy
- Experience providing group therapy
- Experience treating mental health disorders, substance use disorders, and co-occurring conditions
- Strong clinical assessment, treatment planning, and psychotherapy skills
- Ability to provide both telehealth and in-person counseling services
- Valid New Jersey driver's license with acceptable driving history
Desired Qualifications
- Experience as an Outpatient Therapist, Behavioral Health Therapist, Mental Health Counselor, or Clinical Social Worker
- Experience in community mental health settings
- Knowledge of evidence-based treatment practices, including CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, and trauma-informed care
- Experience working with substance use disorders and dual-diagnosis populations
- Bilingual English/Spanish
