LCSW Outpatient Therapist

Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive mental health and behavioral health assessments, provide individual, family, and group therapy, and develop individualized treatment plans and recovery goals. Deliver evidence-based mental health counseling and psychotherapy services, including co-occurring disorder treatment for individuals facing both mental health and substance use challenges. Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation while providing both in-person and telehealth counseling services. This role supports recovery, resilience, and long-term success for clients within the outpatient behavioral health team at Cumberland County Guidance Center in Bridgeton, New Jersey.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Social Work or another mental health-related discipline
- Current New Jersey Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) License or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) License
- Experience providing individual therapy
- Experience providing family therapy
- Experience providing group therapy
- Experience treating mental health disorders, substance use disorders, and co-occurring conditions
- Strong clinical assessment, treatment planning, and counseling skills
- Ability to provide both telehealth and in-person services
- Valid New Jersey driver's license with acceptable driving history
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working in mental health and mental healthcare within their community
- Previously worked in outpatient behavioral health and outpatient mental health settings
- Knowledge regarding evidence-based treatment approaches such as CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, and Trauma-Informed Care
- Prior experience providing recovery-oriented services
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
