Job Summary
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) is part of the patient care team working with health services to assess, diagnose and plan treatment of behavioral health for children, adolescents, adults, and families to improve psychosocial functioning. Responsibilities include developing systems to assess and intervene with high-risk patients, creating resource requirements, developing policies/guidelines, applying current research to clinical practices, delivering care as scheduled, conducting psychosocial screenings and assessments, documenting referrals, advocating for patient access to resources via community programs, communicating treatment plans to patients and families, coordinating with caregivers, medical providers, case management, home health care and other disciplines, providing group and individual counseling, upholding confidentiality and safety standards, collaborating with team members, and adhering to organizational policies; salary is negotiated within MDHS salary plan; status: FLSA Exempt, OSHA low risk, ADA negotiable, safety sensitive; location: Stuttgart, Arkansas; remote option: in-person.
Required Qualifications
- Must have the ability to work effectively independently and in a team environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Requires professionalism and ability to deal effectively with patients, families, caregivers and a variety of internal and external resources
- Master’s Degree (MSW) in social work from an accredited institution required
- Clinical Social Worker licensed by the State of Arkansas
- Minimum of three years of experiences in a healthcare setting required
- Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred
