LCL Export Operation Coordinator

Job Summary
Receive bookings and booking confirmations from Customer Service, review details for special cargo, and arrange shipments according to client-specified schedules. Negotiate shipping companies and reserve full container spaces with booking agents, then coordinate stowage plans and container types with the CFS. Track cargo arrivals and manage exceptions for damaged or delayed goods by contacting clients to confirm additional charges. Supervise AMS/ACI/EMANIFEST filings, ensure 100% customs pre-submission rates, and verify container loading before departure. After vessel departure, transmit pre-alert documents to overseas agents, upload tracking files to PHOENIX, and process cost forms for PRC. Monitor port volume fluctuations, maintain relationships with consolidators for cargo swaps, and update shared sailing schedules. Collaborate closely with Sales and Customer Service teams.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of export operation experience
- Experience with self-consolidated LCL operations
- Good English reading and writing skills
- Familiarity with Windows and Office software
- Ability to track cargo arrival including non-arrivals, damaged cargo, wet cargo, awkward cargo, and other abnormal situations
- Ability to confirm detailed cargo information with customers/CS for special size or special cargo
- Ability to confirm with transit port/destination port and provide feedback
- Ability to negotiate shipping company selection based on freight rate, shipping date, and destination agent usage
- Ability to book space with booking agents in advance and reserve full container spaces
- Ability to modify and confirm container types based on booking situation, customer loading requirements, and agent requirements
- Ability to send loading lists to CFS and notify CFS to arrange container transfer
- Ability to notify CFS to send Cargo arriving reports to Customs when Customs pre-submitting rate reaches 100%
- Ability to follow up with Container Loading and Customs releasing status
- Ability to supervise filings of AMS/ACI/EMANIFEST
- Ability to supervise OP Assistants to check container matching status
- Ability to send pre-alert documents including MB/L, HB/L, PNL, and Invoices to overseas agents
- Ability to communicate with overseas agents regarding port feedback
- Ability to contact customers for further requirements if necessary
- Ability to upload MBL, loading list, and other documents in PHOENIX system
- Ability to submit Cost Form for PRC cost inputting
- Ability to save vendor invoices in Sharepoint folders
- Ability to monitor volume fluctuation of each port and feedback to superior
- Ability to maintain relationships with other LCL consolidators
- Ability to communicate and swap cargo
- Ability to understand opening costs and agreement conditions for various ports
- Ability to calculate PNL based on different cargo components (high and low PLC standard cargo, direct or forwarder customers)
- Ability to calculate PLC based on different proportion of light and heavy cargo
- Ability to update shared sailing schedules in Teams
- Ability to work in a team with Sales and CS colleagues
- Ability to comply with company rules and regulations
