Job Summary
Seeking a Special Education Teacher for grades K-5 to create a flexible education program and positive learning environment while developing rapport with students. Responsibilities include implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), conducting assessments for special education eligibility, collaborating with classroom teachers, monitoring student progress, and ensuring compliance with special education laws and regulations. This position requires strong classroom management, organizational, and communication skills, as well as the ability to differentiate instruction per student needs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree of related subject from accredited university
- Current Colorado teaching certificate with special education endorsement or actively enrolled in alternative licensure program
- Demonstrated competency in the classroom
- Strong interpersonal skills and computer proficiency

- Experience with students who are Multilingual
