Job Summary
Modify middle school curriculum for learners with mild to moderate disabilities and deliver personalized instruction tailored to state standards and individual student goals. Monitor student performance through regular assessment, adjust instructional approaches, and keep accurate records to meet compliance requirements. Actively participate in IEP meetings, collaborate with classroom teachers, service providers, and families, and support positive student behavior through reinforcement-based strategies. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License with an LBS1 endorsement
- Experience working in resource settings
