Job Summary
Develop shop drawings from approved architectural and millwork designs by translating geometry into production software and machine-ready information. Create build and assembly instructions for the shop while maintaining consistent binders and handoff packages. Collaborate directly with design, shop, and installation teams to catch conflicts, tolerance issues, and interface problems before material reaches a machine. Support specification research, purchasing, and technical coordination to ensure precise, iterative technical work across the connected production system.
Required Qualifications
- Strong CAD fluency
- comfortable in both 2D drawings and 3D models
- Real understanding of alignment, tolerances, material interfaces, and fabrication sequence
- Ability to reason through how something gets cut, assembled, finished, and installed
- Concise, accurate communication
- a willingness to escalate uncertainty
Desired Qualifications
- Cabinet Vision / CNC familiarity
