Layout Integration Engineer

Job Summary
Develop and deliver integrated plant layouts across Fusion and Modular Nuclear programmes, including SMRs, AMRs and Fusion projects. Own layout development for assigned systems, buildings or plant areas; develop integrated equipment, piping, cable tray, access and maintenance layouts; interpret PFDs and P&IDs; lead piping routing studies; work within 3D CAD/BIM environments; coordinate design activities across multiple engineering disciplines; lead multidisciplinary workshops and layout reviews; produce general arrangements and engineering deliverables; present technical solutions to stakeholders; support modularisation, construction and maintainability assessments.
Required Qualifications
- Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent industrial experience
- Experience using E3D, PDMS, Plant 3D, Siemens NX, Revit, Inventor or similar CAD/BIM tools
- SC Clearance or capable of achieving it
Desired Qualifications
- Experience leading plant areas, systems or work packages
- Experience in nuclear, fusion, SMR or AMR sectors
- Experience using E3D, PDMS, Plant 3D, Siemens NX, Revit, Inventor or similar CAD/BIM tools
- Strong communication and report writing skills
- SC Clearance or capable of achieving it
