Job Summary
Create PCB layouts with ECAD tools and ensure technical feasibility for standard and power PCBs. Align layout with hardware, software, EMV, mechanical engineering, purchasing, and manufacturing by defining requirements and specs. Define electrical and mechanical parameters for PCB layouts, and apply clearance/creepage guidelines for high/low voltage designs. Prepare and conduct design reviews, manage PCB data, and generate production and assembly documentation. Coordinate with neighboring global layout teams to align layouts and standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or similar field
- Experience with PCB design software such as Zuken
- Strong understanding of PCB design, technologies, production, and standards
- Proficient in English (spoken and written)
- Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate well
- Commitment to ongoing learning and skills development
