Job Summary
Laydown Foreman responsible for leading and overseeing daily laydown yard operations. Lead and supervise laydown teams, ensure safety and efficiency, coordinate with logistics to meet crane and delivery schedules, maintain cleanliness of the yard, collect fuel usage data, gather inspection sheets and PTP forms for logistics administration, and train new employees to integrate smoothly into the team while upholding safety protocols. The role requires strong leadership, construction laydown experience, and the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced, site-based environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED
- 3-5+ years of experience in laydown yard operations, logistics, or a similar construction-related role
- 2+ years of experience as a Foreman
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills; attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines; professional attitude
- Ability to work in a construction site environment (trailer office)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license
- May be required to travel to other sites within Arizona to perform certain work functions
