Job Summary
Assist the Head Coach in delivering sports coaching and supervision to K-12 secondary school age girls volleyball players. Instruct students on sport fundamentals, coordinate practice schedules, and manage equipment issuance while monitoring try-outs and athlete participation. Guide student athletes on appropriate decision-making regarding their sport involvement and ensure compliance with Georgia High School Association policies, rules, and regulations. This role requires completing the "PREPARE/First Aid" and "Principles for Coaching" exams within three months of class, with a recommended age of 21 or older. The position involves 70% outdoor physical effort, moderate lifting, and frequent travel for off-site competitions. A stipend is provided for this community coaching role.
Required Qualifications
- PREPARE/ First Aid exam
- Principles for Coaching exam
- Georgia High School Association Coaching exam
- 21 years of age or older
