Job Summary
Draft court pleadings, submissions, correspondence, settlement deeds, and advice letters while conducting legal research across contract disputes, regulatory investigations, consumer law, leasing, intellectual property, and franchising matters. Collaborate with senior practitioners to develop case strategy and tactical approaches for complex commercial disputes, then review evidence and contracts to identify key issues and commercial risks. Prepare for and attend court hearings, mediations, conciliations, and client meetings, advising SMEs and large corporate entities on high-stakes matters. Admitted lawyer in New South Wales with 2-4 years of direct experience in commercial disputes and litigation, comfortable working across diverse industries. Required Qualifications
- Admitted lawyer in New South Wales
- 2-4 years of direct experience in commercial disputes and litigation
- Confident with the processes and rules of the NSW Courts
- Confident with the processes and rules of the Federal Court
- Experience in other jurisdictions
- Experience acting in proceedings before the NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal
- Commercially minded
- Ability to provide strategic, practical advice aligned to clients' broader business objectives
