Job Summary
Lawyer role in Gilbert + Tobin’s Banking and Finance team focusing on project finance transactions in infrastructure, energy and resources. You will work closely with Adela Smith and Special Counsel James Frixou on landmark project finance dealings and support the team on other financings, including acquisition financings. The ideal candidate has around three years’ PQE (or equivalent) with direct project finance experience preferred, strong drafting and negotiation skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a high-profile, technically challenging environment.
Required Qualifications
- three years’ post-qualification experience (PQE) or equivalent
- strong interest in project finance
- experience in finance with exposure to project finance highly regarded
- ability to work independently and collaboratively
- strong analytical, negotiation and drafting skills
- commercial awareness and ability to work effectively with clients
